James (Jimmy) A. Waters Died July 1, 2011 from wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device in Sartak, Kandahar province in Afghanistan. The 21 year old, from Whiteland, Indiana, was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division in Fort Drum, N.Y. Jimmy had a love for football and wrestling and was a quiet prankster that always stuck up for the little guys. He is survived by his parents; Garry and Valerie, 3 brothers; Tony, Andy, and Joe, and sister Jennifer. *Remember that everyone is welcomed to hang out at the gym today to watch the final day of the CrossFit Games.
